About the dojo

This Judo program began in 1992 at the local community college, Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) where it remained for 31 years. SWOCC Dojo’s legacy of serving the local community has since moved to Shipyard Judo, one of the northwest’s largest and most up-to-date Judo training facilities.

With 10 United States Judo Federation (USJF) certified black belts on the mat, we offer over 100 years of combined teaching experience.
