Kodokan Goshin Jutsu Clinic Eugene, OR October 12, 2024

This weekend our friends at Best Martial Arts Institute in Eugene held a kata (prearranged forms) clinic. The instructors who came from Washington to give the clinic are formal world champions. Sensei (teachers) Mike, Delynn, Mikey, and their assistant Dave brought a wealth and breadth of knowledge of the kata. Additionally, Shipyard’s own coaches Brynn and Haley acted as demonstrators for various techniques as well. Also attending the clinic from Shipyard were coaches Rob and Clayton.

The clinic included seven hours of mat time with lunch in the middle. Afterwards we had a pot luck at Sensei Best’s home. Like every event hosted by Best Martial Arts Institute, this was a great clinic and a wonderful experience and we look forward to attending the next one.
