Oregon State University Tournament Corvallis, OR January 25, 2025

This weekend we traveled up to the OSU campus for their annual tournament. We had four competitors: Justin, Jeff, Sabrina, and Maria. Coaches Eric, Clayton, and Rob came along to support them and so did Kyle to film matches and take pictures.

Maria ended up going 1-3 in the novice light weight while competing against people who were much larger than her. All in all she never gave up and did as well as she could.

Justin went 1-1 in the novice heavy division and Jeff went 0-2 in the brown/black heavy division, but unfortunately they both got injured in their last matches and were unable to continue competing. We wish them speedy recoveries.

Sabrina went 4-1 for the day competing in both the brown/black heavy and the open divisions. She won her matches in a variety of ways including throws, pins, and a choke. She took first in both of her divisions and earned the nickname “War Machine”.
